It’s a good sign that Mikaël Silvestre has increased his fitness level in the past week. Thought he looked solid and it really helped Andrew Jean-Baptiste to play a steady match. A center-back partnership of AJB and Silvestre excites me just a little bit.

When’s Darlington Nagbe going to open up his playbook and give it something we haven’t seen before? Nags has a fantastic touch on the ball, reads the game pretty well and has other tools that should make him supremely confident. Now with that it would be nice to see Darlington take guys on instead of settling for the safe move back. I’m starting to believe Nags actually slows down the entire universe for a split moment when he’s on the ball. One of these days he has to start feeling just as confident turning the tempo up another notch or two. Continue reading
